What do you think about the Union House cafeteria space ?
i think thats a fantastic idea michael.
we'll list that in as a potential proposal we can make.
do you think students speaking about this to the Student Union representatives would help ?
this is a very important space of gathering, and if a large number of students feel the way you do, i definitely think some suggestions need to be made.

as your picture discribes, it's overcrowded, but under utilised. My problem with it all is that there is always 50% or more of the tables occupied by just one person, which takes up more room and no one ends up sitting in the space. Bench tables to me is the answer, they are less formal, as you are not sitting at someone elses table, and you can have people on either side. You would fit alot more people in the space and, to me, the imformality of the bench would promote interstudent relationship easier. Almost how the redgum bench seats do outside
